St Martin’s brotherhood is an independent group of life admirers and wine lovers. Our mission is to improve the culture of wine drinking as well the promotion of the Slovenian wine reality and tradition in Slovenia and abroad.

We believe that the Slovenian wine production has quality, originality and is rich in its cultural heritage. Therefore, it has the potential to become one of the leading tools for the promotion of Slovenia abroad.

Our aim is to organize a national wine celebration each year in November, reaching its peak on the St. Martin’s Day. Besides, our vision is to make the 11 November a national holiday in Slovenia.

On Saturday 6 November this year BSM will be present at the Ljubljana Wine Route, on Thursday 11 November in Vipava Valley and on Saturday 13 November 2010 at the big celebration of St Martin’s Day at the castle Dobrovo in Goriška Brda.
