Clinary regions
Janez Bogataj is doctor of ethnological sciences. The basic field of his research is the ethnological profile of the Slovenes, i.e. their culture and their way of life. He has written several award-winning books published in Slovenia as well as abroad. One of his recent masterpieces is dedicated to the division of Slovenia into culinary regions, presented by dishes typical for each region.
